Alocasia sanderiana

Alocasia sanderiana.

Known as the Kris plants they are grown as ornamentals.
Leaves, up to 40 cm long, are on stems up to 60 cm long.
The shiny, dark green leaf blade is arrowhead shaped with long basal lobes.
The contrasting veins are silvery-white and the underside is reddish.

The typical arum-like inflorescences have a green and white spathe up to 15 cm long enclosing
    the spadix with the small cream flowers.

The fruit are red to orange.
