Lagunaria

Previously in Subfamily Bombacoideae it is now in Subfamily Malvoideae of Family Malvaceae.

Plants of the World Online (Kew) and World Flora Online accept 2 species.
Lagunaria patersonia native to Norfolk and Lord Howe Islands and
Lagunaria queenslandica native to the N.E. Queensland coast.

With only 2 species with minimal differences descriptions of the genus and species are basiclly the same.
